Team Leader - Finance

Job Purpose

• To perform a variety of high-risk functions within the Central Finance – Transaction Management team

Key Outputs may include but are not limited to:

• Approval of Sage (accounting system) payments.
• Releasing of payments on the FNB online platform.
• Processing of high value transactions on the Paradigm system.
• Checking/Reviewing of staff members’ work.
• Acting as a backup on a variety of functions within the team.
• Approving of payment and transfer requests.
• Approval of invoices received from Suppliers.
• Involvement in Internal & external audits.
• Involvement with process enhancements.
• Assisting the Procurement team with vetting of Suppliers.
• Offer support to the management team as backup and where required.

Work Experience

• 10 years working experience in an operational environment dealing with financial transactions.
• Experience in some of the operational systems: Paradigm, Sage

Qualifications

• Completed B.Com or similar financial qualification

System Knowledge

• Sage
• Paradigm
• Microsoft Office
