SAP MM Support Specialist

Reporting: Senior SAP MM Lead

Location: Melrose, Johannesburg

OVERVIEW:

The MM support specialist will be responsible for SAP operation live sites, Governance Process Monitoring and SLA Monitoring

In addition, implementation, and process improvements in key areas of SAP Inventory Management and Warehouse

GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY:

• Implementation of monthly MM Change Requests.
• Resolution of Cherwell MM tickets.
• Provide timely support to SAP related queries from the Global Business Process owner and SMEs.
• Weekly engagement with Global Business Process Owner on MM related matters and identifying opportunities.
• Provide support to upgrade/rollout implementation Projects, Regression Testing and Defect Resolution.
• Ensure that MM Documentation are updated (SBB, BPP, Functional Specifications).
• Ensure MDO requests are processed for sites

KEY RELATIONSHIPS:

• SAP Global Support team.
• Copper Commercial Service functions (Transactional services, Vendor management, Compliance, Legal Services).
• Global BPOs and SMEs.
• Copper IT management.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer science, Computer engineering or related field.
• SAP Certification.

Experience

• 8 years of MM experience plus at least 3 full cycle implementations and 1 S/4 HANA full cycle implementation.

• Ability to absorb and work under pressure.
• Strong functional/ technical knowledge across the Supply Chain value chain.
• Good organization and co-ordination skills required.
• Project Management skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders across the organisation at all levels.
