The education division of Adapt IT is looking for a Celcat Support Agent to allow the education division to provide a support service to its clients as well as to ensure that it has skilled resources for support across the education spectrum. This includes support on the Celcat product range and ITS Integrator system.Job description
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE ROLE
- Have a good understanding of processes at Higher Educational Institutions.
- Have a thorough understanding of the core Celcat Software modules utilised by Adapt IT clients in performing these client services.
- Knowledge on the add-on Celcat software modules will be advantageous.
- Maintain adequate knowledge of the software and business practices.
- Provide telephonic and/or email support as well as support via MS Teams to clients using the Celcat Software and ensure ongoing communication with regards to status and activity.
- Be able to analyse client requirements in terms of product development, project, and training requests.
- Assist with testing of software when required and advise on compliance.
- Assist with updating Celcat Software training manuals.
- Assist with the completion of Requests for Information/Requests for Proposal responses for the Celcat Software
- Assist with planning of the Celcat Africa User Group Conference.
- Assisting in evaluating controls and procedures at clients (not only from a system perspective) and making proposals as to improvements.
Ability to understand client data structures.
- Ability to analyse and interpret data.
- Have a good understanding of all other ITS Integrator modules and systems within the product set (e.g., Student Administration, Finance, HR etc)
- Be able to analyse client requirements in terms of product development, project, and training requests.
- Comply with all administrative, SLA and ISO requirements as published and as revised from time to time.
- Assist with marketing of products and services by way of assisting with system demonstrations, advising clients as to products and services available.
- Mentoring of juniors and new staff and the associated administrative functions related to this
Minimum requirements
DESIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALITIES:
Education & Qualification
- An applicable undergraduate degree or diploma
- Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of Visio and MS Projects will be an advantage
- A minimum of 3 years experience on the ITS Integrator system - Student Management System and
- At least a minimum of 3 years current experience actively using CELCAT Software
- Knowledge on any other Student, Financial or HR/Payroll system will be advantageous.
