Job Purpose:

The Enrolled Nursing Assistant provides patient care according to assessed and monitored individual needs, under the direction of the Professional Nurse. Ensure the delivery, management, and co-ordination of quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient care

Surgical outreach program for communities

Wound care

Ward rounds

Family contacts and appointments

Communication and professional conduct

Planning and carrying out work in accordance with

available time

Responding to crisis situations and breakdown in area of responsibility

Working co-operatively with others

Completing of administrative requirements

Qualifications:

Auxiliary Nursing or equivalent qualification that allows registration with the SANC as an Enrolled Nursing Assistant
