We are seeking a detail-oriented Data analyst with a strong proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel functionality, including Power Pivot and Power Query, to manage and analyse large, complex datasets within the insurance industry. This role will be integral in the implementation of accounting applications and ensuring data integrity across different platforms and entities. What will make you successful in this role? Success in this role will require technical mastery, analytical acumen and strong communication skills.

• Mastery of Excels advanced functionalities such as Power Query, Power Pivot, complex formulas and pivot tables in order to build data models and process large datasets efficiently.
• Attention to Data Quality
• Ensuring data accuracy, consistency and integrity is critical in this role.
• Effective Communication to various stakeholders
• Collaboration and willingness to learn

Qualification and Experience

• Degree in Data Science, Accounting/Finance or Actuarial Science
• 3-5 years of working experience in data analytics
• Financial services experience advantageous

Knowledge and Skills

• Advanced MS Excel knowledge and experience
• Experience working with large data sets
• Well versed with power query and power pivot
