What will you do as a SHEQ Graduate?

The SHEQ Graduate will be exposed to SHEQ Administration, Compliance monitoring and system support within the SHEQ Department, the SHEQ Graduate will assist with general administrative responsibilities and monitor day-to-day activities that impact directly on departmental targets.

What do we expect from you as a SHEQ Graduate?

***Pre-requisite: Require work integrated learning experience in order to obtain qualification.

  • Bachelors degree in SHEQ
  • NEBOSH, SAMTRAC or ICERTOSH Certification is advantageous
  • An excellent academic record (Average of 65% and above)
  • Good communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Good Excel skills
  • Ability to work under pressure

Your Graduate Program will include the following exposures:

SHEQ Administration and document control

  • Database and system administration
  • General office administration
  • Coordinating meetings and appointments
  • Compiling presentations and reports
  • Drafting and typing of correspondence for the SHEQ & Sustainability Manager
  • Recording, compilation and distribution of all team meeting & assist with SHE Committee minutes
  • Communicate with all site employees and some regulators, both internal and external either electronically, written or verbal
  • Support and provide coordination assistance with Quality and records management

Tracking and sorting of Enablon entries (system monitoring and updating)

  • Database and system administration
  • Assist in the maintenance and improve Quality Management Systems for logging, reviewing, reporting, analysing, measuring performance and corrective actions
  • Safety Improvement Plan support
