Eduvos is looking to employ a DevHub Manager on a permanent basis at any of our National campuses.

Type of role:

Permanent

Purpose of the role: To drive the strategic implementation of key projects within the DFL department to enhance content and assessment delivery across multiple faculties. This role ensures alignment with institutional priorities, optimises resource allocation, and fosters cross-functional collaboration to improve the student learning experience and institutional competitiveness.

• Honours Degree (Masters would be advantageous)
• A formal qualification in project management would be advantageous
• A formal qualification that includes quantitative data analysis will be advantageous
• At least three years of project management-related experience in a higher education context
• Experience in managing projects related to curriculum design and/or instructional design

• The project manager will thoroughly investigate the impact of projects on the organisation, structures and processes
• All academic role players will be consulted during the development of the project plan to ensure relevancy and accuracy
• Project planning methodologies will be customised to suit the situation
• The project plan for each programme, module and associated assessments will be referenceable and accessible
• Budget for curriculum design and delivery will be managed strictly within the agreed scope, schedule and quality
• Projections will be reviewed as per agreed schedule
• All deviations will be formally approved via change requests
• All stakeholders will at all times be aware of the broader context and academic strategy (such as CHE requirements, programme exit-level outcomes, and institutional academic strategy),
• The expectations and concerns of stakeholders - across different departments - will be managed
• The project manager will reinforce and continually communicate the necessity for continual improvement of processes and approaches - which will be an inherent part of all projects
• The project manager will liaise with relevant business and technical teams to ensure that alignment and integration issues are mitigated
• All overlaps/integration areas will be communicated to all relevant stakeholders
• Manage project resources
• Risks will be pre-empted and addressed timeously
• Issues that can impact negatively on curriculum delivery will be identified and managed proactively
• Quality of solution- problem solving, decisions making, and judgement effective and right for the department and problems solved on the lowest

• In-depth understanding of curriculum design principles in higher education
• Good understanding of governance structures processes and policies in a higher education environment
• Well-developed report writing and design skills
• Excellent project management skills
• Proven ability to implement creative solutions for complex business problems both technical and interdepartmental
• Experience in managing cross-departmental, cross-functional, and multiple projects
• Proficient in analysing data from CRM systems, MS Office suite, MS Teams, SharePoint and PowerBi
• Good understanding of project governance and project administration systems and tools
