• A relevant B Degree in Computer Science, Computer

Engineering, Engineering, Statistics, or related field

• Minimum 8 years experience with Data Management &

Data Analyses

• Proficiency with MS Office, Business Intelligence software,

SQL.

• Proficiency with Python and R is highly recommended.
• Experience with SAP and GIS (ESRI) will be beneficial.
• Valid drivers licence

Key Performance Areas

• Ensure accuracy, integrity and compliance of data

gathering, data input and data Structures

• Maintain spatial and non-spatial attributes of database

entries, security, master, and metadata.

• Liaise with both internal and external data partners.
• Execute, manage and monitor the consolidation,

processing and presentation of functional information to ensure that information and records detailing activities/operations are updated, maintained and made available to support the directorates planning and decision making process as well as supporting operational outputs.

• Render support to specific functional areas, by analysing

operational and transactional data.

• Develop and manage the Transport Data Warehouse.
• Data and associated systems related Project Management.
• Develop, implement and monitor policy and Standard

Operating Procedures.

• Lead data initiatives in directorate.
• Providing on the job training and mentoring of staff as

determined by the relevant line managers as and when required.
