• A relevant B degree or BTech in Finance, Economics,

Commerce or similar field

• Minimum five (5) years appropriate experience in a

Contract/Tender management environment in local/government will be advantageous

• Computer proficiency in MS Office applications and SAP
• A valid drivers licence.

Key Performance Areas

• Apply a substantial body of professional knowledge,

transport legislation and advanced tender/supply chain know-how within public transport fleet management discipline.

• Assist with the management public transport fleet

tenders/procurements and ensure effective contract management in accordance with applicable legislation and City policies and procedures

• Project management of all assigned projects to ensure

that projects are completed on time, within allocated budget and in compliance with project management processes and legislation

• Facilitate the procurement; build to Specification programme

and delivery schedule

• Monitor all applicable warranties as guided in the contract
• Management of penalties for non-compliance to contractual

obligations

• Manage fleet administration, fleet registry and SharePoint

sites

• Staff management
