• A relevant 3 year qualification, B.Comm or B Tech in Local

Government Finance, Supply Chain Management or related fields.

• 8 years relevant experience
• A valid drivers licence

Key Performance Areas

• Provide high level stakeholder input and interaction to

the SCM BAC, City Manager, CFO, Management, relevant officials and other external institutions regarding the effective functioning of SCM BAC

• Manage the stakeholder activities supporting SCM BAC,

CPD, benchmarking and support of ToR, Delegated Authority and relevant policies and procedures

• Appointed Supply Chain Management Bid Adjudication

Committee member and chairperson (SCM BAC)

• SCM governance and business improvement
• Provides advice and guidance to SCM BAC on functional

and operational matters

• Manage the establishment, maintenance of processes for

SCM BAC

• Coordinate & Manage the activities of SCM BAC as per

the Terms of Reference, Delegated Authority and relevant policies and procedures

• Directs and controls outcomes associated with utilization,

productivity and performance of personnel within the Branch

• Lead and direct the establishment of a Strategic Programme
