Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure the timely and quality supply of goods and services. Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues that arise regarding deliveries, quality, or cost. Purchasing & Sourcing: Coordinate and manage the procurement of materials, goods, and services in accordance with company needs. Ensure that purchasing activities align with cost and quality expectations. Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favourable terms, including pricing, quality, and delivery schedules. Ensure all procurement agreements are legally compliant and aligned with company objectives. Inventory & Stock Control: Monitor inventory levels to ensure an adequate supply of necessary materials without overstocking. Work with the warehouse and logistics teams to ensure smooth flow of goods. Cost Management: Continuously assess the procurement process to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality. Ensure that procurement spending stays within budget. Market Research: Stay updated on market trends, pricing changes, and new product developments that may impact procurement activities. Use this knowledge to make informed purchasing decisions. Data & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including supplier performance, purchase orders, and contract details. Provide reports to management on procurement activities and cost-saving initiatives. Compliance & Quality Control: Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, legal regulations, and quality standards. Work closely with quality control teams to resolve any issues related to goods or services procured. Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field (preferred). Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or logistics, ideally in a similar industry. Skills: Strong negotiation and communication skills. Solid understanding of procurement processes and supplier management. Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Personal Attributes: Strong attention to detail. Proactive and adaptable.
