To oversee test planning, execution, and reporting across multiple projects, ensuring a balance between functional, automated, and performance testing. Lead a team of test analysts and work closely with stakeholders to align testing strategies with business and technical objectives. Leverage experience in functional, automated and performance testing to drive efficiency, scalability, and software quality improvements. Are You Someone Who Can:

• Develop and oversee the execution of test plans and strategies that integrate functional, automation, and performance testing approaches.
• Manage and mentor a team of test analysts, ensuring a structured and efficient testing environment that incorporates manual, automated, and performance testing.
• Collaborate with software development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to ensure testing is seamlessly integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
• Facilitate the adoption of test automation and performance testing frameworks, ensuring they contribute to faster and more reliable software releases.
• Define testing standards, governance processes, and best practices, ensuring consistency across all projects.
• Ensure comprehensive test coverage across functional and non-functional testing domains, including regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.
• Monitor test execution, track defects, and ensure timely resolution, escalating issues when necessary.
• Analyse performance test results, working with performance testers and engineers to identify bottlenecks, scalability issues, and application stability concerns.
• Identify and drive opportunities for test automation, ensuring repetitive test cases are automated for increased efficiency.
• Coordinate cross-functional testing efforts, ensuring alignment with business priorities and release schedules.
• Report key testing metrics and trends, providing visibility into software quality and test effectiveness.
• Participate in release management discussions, ensuring all quality gates are met before software is deployed to production.
• Continuously assess and improve testing tools, techniques, and frameworks, staying informed of emerging trends in test automation and performance testing.
• Ensure risk-based testing approaches are applied, prioritising high-impact and business-critical functionalities.
• Act as a liaison between testing teams and senior management, advocating for the necessary resources and tools to enhance testing efficiency.

You Will Be An Ideal Candidate If You:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Postgraduate Degree in Computer Science or related field
• Additional certification in software testing
• 3 - 5 years experience in a similar environment, of which 1 - 2 years ideally at junior (entry level) management level
• Proficiency in test management tools and automation frameworks
