Job Description Hello future Client Payments Solutionist! A leader in advanced payment solutions, Hyphen Technology specializes in receipting, reconciliations, and cash flow administration for corporate clients. It offers technology to automate and optimize payment processes, reducing manual intervention and errors. By integrating with clients existing line of business systems, Hyphen Technology enhances operational efficiency and provides clients with actionable insights to manage their cash flow effectively. To provide critical operations integration support, playing a hands-on role in ensuring smooth payment and collections processing and resolution of operational issues. The engage in client-facing operations and support clients through the full value chain of payment and collections transactions, including reconciliations, confirmations, and investigations. To leverage basic scripting to troubleshoot and resolve integration issues and offers diagnostic support to ensure payment solutions are optimally deployed and maintained. Are you someone who can:- Collaborate with the Product and Channel teams to ensure client payment solutions are effectively integrated and operational across systems.
- Conduct daily reconciliations of payment transactions to ensure accurate reflection of processed payments.
- Verify and confirm payments with clients and internal teams to ensure successful transaction processing.
- Investigate and resolve client payment discrepancies, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues promptly.
- Action implementation support tasks as required i.e., new bank account configuration / loading, bank statement download management, exception management for transactions not approved by Clients, exception risk management etc.
- Support the Development and QA teams to assist with UAT testing of new functionality / products and processes.
- Identify automation opportunities and raise through the relevant processes. Participate in implementation where required.
- Write and modify basic scripts to automate operational processes or troubleshoot integration issues.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients on operational issues, providing exceptional client servicing and support.
- Diagnose and resolve operational issues through detailed analysis of payment processing systems and client issues.
- Engage with relevant internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues and questions relating to new billing features.
- Work with product development, IT, and operations teams to address integration and payment processing challenges.
- Investigate and resolve failed or delayed payment transactions, ensuring that all payment issues are logged and addressed.
- Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate teams for higher-level support and resolution.
- Continuously monitor payment systems to proactively identify and address potential disruptions.
- Generate and analyse reports on payment processing performance, reconciliations, and error resolutions.
- Assist in the onboarding of new clients by supporting the integration of payment solutions and ensuring systems are ready for live transactions.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance payment processing efficiency and reduce operational risks.
- Work closely with internal teams to achieve shared objectives and ensure seamless client servicing.
- Actively participate in initiatives aimed at improving payment processes and operational systems.
- Follow risk mitigation strategies to reduce errors in payment processing and integration activities.
- Uphold a strong client-first approach in all engagements, ensuring client satisfaction and trust in Hyphen Technologys solutions.
- Maintain a focus on high-quality execution and continuous learning to improve personal and team performance.
- Diploma or relevant qualification
- 3 to 5 years experience in a similar environment, of which 1 to 2 years ideally at a junior specialist level, with experience in a client-facing operations role within FinTech or banking.
- Experience with payment systems, reconciliations, and settlements
- Previous experience in insurance or knowledge of insurance industry
- Advanced excel experience
