Duties/Pligte The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring a high standard of service for the following functions:- Assisting prospective and current students telephonically, personally and through email correspondence with broad-ranging postgraduate-related enquiries and ensuring timely responses.
- Scheduling online and in-person consultations with prospective and current students about, inter alia, progression pathways for further studies, etc., and /or referring them to the appropriate
- Providing a specialist Credential Evaluation Service to internationally qualified applicants to postgraduate programmes through Credential Evaluation Reports -
- Accurate and reliable record-keeping within the PGO and on the institutional student information systems.
- Effective determination and application of good practice and keeping abreast of ongoing developments in the field of international credential evaluation and international curriculums.
- Ongoing liaison with the Central Application Office (CAO); Centre for Student Administration (CSA), and Academic Departments to support postgraduate studies at the University.
- Presenting, inter alia, on subject matter related to international credentials and postgraduate administrative processes.
- Travelling on and between campuses as required, and representing the PGO at workshops and meetings, in-person and online.
- Issuing immigration documentation in response to offers made to international students selected for postgraduate programmes.
- Issuing of confirmation of studies documentation for students visa renewal.
- Undertaking any other duties or tasks as requested or delegated by the PGO line management.

- Verskaf n gespesialiseerde evaluasiediens aan internasionaal gekwalifiseerde aansoekers vir nagraadse programme deur middel van evaluasieverslae, met inbegrip van:
- Akkurate en betroubare rekordhouding binne die NK en op die institusionele studente-inligtingstelsels.
- Effektiewe bepaling en toepassing van goeie praktyk en om op hoogte te bly van deurlopende ontwikkelinge in die veld van internasionale kwalifikasie evaluasie en internasionale kurrikulums.
- Deurlopende samewerking met die Sentrale Aansoekkantoor, Sentrum vir Studenteadministrasie (SSA), en akademiese departemente om nagraadse studies aan die Universiteit te ondersteun.
- Aanbieding van, onder andere, onderwerpe wat verband hou met internasionale kwalifikasies en nagraadse administratiewe prosesse.
- Reis op en tussen kampusse soos vereis word, en verteenwoordig die NK by werkswinkels en vergaderings, beide persoonlik en aanlyn.
- Die uitreiking van immigrasiedokumentasie in reaksie op aanbiedings wat gemaak is aan internasionale studente wat vir nagraadse programme gekies is.
- Die uitreiking van bevestiging van studies-dokumentasie vir studente se visumvernuwing.

- At least a Bachelors degree.
- At least three years relevant work experience.
- Knowledge of, and the ability to demonstrate understanding of, different tertiary education systems (including South African and international systems).
- Knowledge of a universitys postgraduate programme offering and understanding the postgraduate student life cycle and related processes.
- Strong administrative, organisational, technical, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication skills, including both written and verbal proficiency in English.
- High attention to detail, efficient and well-organised.
- The ability to manage large volumes of administration, especially under pressure, and to maintain focus and motivation despite repetitive tasks.
