At Coachbit, we help students build the skills and habits they need to thrive in school and life. Our app combines one-on-one coaching with habit-building tools to guide students toward success.
We are looking for a Junior Product Manager who will play a crucial role in ensuring our technologys quality and smooth operation. The ideal candidate is someone eager to grow in product management, software testing, and technical operations within a fast-moving startup.
BASIC DETAILS
- Location: Remote (Work remotely from anywhere!)
- Contract Type: Independent Contractor
- Hours: 40 Hours per week
- Expected Start Date: ASAP
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Junior Product Manager, you will focus on three key areas:
1. Quality Assurance and Testing
- Test and validate new features, updates, and bug fixes across our platforms.
- Identify, document, and track issues to ensure a high-quality user experience.
2. Bug Tracking and Cross-Team Support
- Act as the key point of contact for logging and prioritizing bugs and technical issues.
- Work closely with our coaching, operations, sales, and marketing teams to process and resolve tech requests.
- Ensure clear communication between teams and engineering.
3. Engineering Team Administration
- Assist in organizing and prioritizing engineering team tasks.
- Help manage project timelines, track progress, and ensure deadlines are met.
REQUIREMENTS
- An interest in technology and a desire to learn and grow in the product space.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic understanding of software systems and processes.
- Impeccable written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in a tech startup, product management, or software QA is beneficial.
- A bachelors degree or similar qualification is required OR at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
