The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance to end-users, resolving desktop related issues, maintaining hardware and software and ensuring the smooth operation and usability of the desktop computing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitoring the Helpdesk regularly throughout the day and ensuring that all open calls are resolved.
• Providing first-line IT technical support.
• Installing, configuring, and maintaining all IT equipment, including desktop computers, laptops, servers, mobile devices, tablets and other peripherals.
• Troubleshooting network problems and ensuring that all network equipment is functioning correctly.
• Ensuring that all boardroom equipment, including projectors, video conferencing equipment, and other AV technology is functional.
• Maintaining an inventory of IT equipment and ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained and serviced.
• Managing user accounts and access rights, resetting passwords, and ensuring that users have the appropriate level of access to the organizations systems and data.
• Ensuring backups are created regularly according to company policy as well as testing all backups periodically.
• Conduct regular server maintenance to ensure the server environment is functioning optimally.
