Job Summary

The Codifyer and Pricing Administrator is responsible for the accurate creation, maintenance, and management of product codes and pricing structures within the organizations systems. This role ensures that all product information and pricing data align with company standards and client requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Codification Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain unique product codes for all items in the database.
• Ensure all product codes align with company and industry standards for classification and nomenclature.
• Update and revise product codes as required, ensuring system accuracy and consistency.
• Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to validate product specifications and ensure proper coding.

Pricing Responsibilities:

• Develop, update, and manage pricing structures for products and services.
• Collaborate with sales, finance, and procurement teams to ensure pricing aligns with business strategies and market trends.
• Perform regular price audits to identify discrepancies and ensure data accuracy.
• Monitor competitor pricing and market trends to recommend adjustments when needed.

System and Data Management:

• Maintain and manage databases, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information on product codes and pricing.
• Generate reports related to pricing, coding accuracy, and database integrity.
• Implement process improvements to streamline codification and pricing workflows.

Collaboration and Support:

• Support sales and procurement teams by providing accurate product and pricing information for client proposals and orders.
• Train internal stakeholders on coding and pricing systems to ensure consistency in usage.
• Resolve coding and pricing-related issues promptly and effectively.

Qualifications and Skills

Education and Experience:

• 2-3 years of experience in pricing, product coding, or a similar role.
• Experience with ERP systems or pricing tools is highly desirable.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., advanced formulas, pivot tables) and other data management tools.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (Zoho and Sage) and coding standards.

Soft Skills:

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills for cross-department collaboration.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Accuracy rate of product codes and pricing.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: R10 000,00 - R20 000,00 per month

Experience:

• Administrative office procedures, practices and equipment: 3 years (Preferred)
