FUNCTIONAL OUTPUTS

  • Fault-finding on electrical and Hydraulic systems.
  • Handle mechanical and electrical breakdowns.
  • Hydraulic fault-finding and maintenance.
  • Preventative maintenance.
  • Daily liaison with maintenance personnel regarding equipment & spares at mines.
  • Assist in technical investigations.
  • Identification of defects and reporting to supervisor.
  • Manage safety issues.
  • Order spares required from the stores and for maintenance.
  • Ensure that all safety aspects are adhered to at workplace
  • Maintains of explosive plants and trucks in SA and abroad.
  • Ensure good Housekeeping.
  • Grade 12 with Maths and Science.
  • Qualified Red Seal Millwright / Electro-mechanic.
  • Must be in possession of a valid drivers license (Min code 10), wish code 11 or code EB.
  • Red Ticket.
  • Minimum of five years experience as an electro mechanic (Millwright)
