Were hiring!Join a leading home technology integration company and help bring smart homes to life. Were looking for a skilled Audio Visual Installation Technician whos hands-on, tech-savvy, and passionate about creating seamless AV and automation experiences in residential environments.

What Youll Do:

  • Pre-Wiring & Setup: Install low-voltage wiring during early construction stages for AV, network, and security systems.
  • AV Installation: Mount and connect TVs, install DStv systems, configure surround sound, and multi-room audio.
  • Home Networking: Set up routers, access points, and ensure fast, reliable home connectivity.
  • Home Automation: Install and program smart home systems - lighting, climate, AV control, voice control, and more.
  • Security Systems: Install and configure alarm systems, CCTV cameras, motion detectors, and access control.
  • Customer Interaction: Educate clients on system usage and troubleshoot any issues with professionalism and care.

What You Bring:

  • 2+ years of experience in AV, security, or smart home installations.
  • Solid understanding of residential wiring, cabling, and networking principles.
  • Comfort using hand/power tools, meters, and mobile apps for setup.
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
  • A problem-solver mindset and a customer-first attitude.
  • Valid drivers license and reliable transport.

Bonus Points For:

  • Experience with platforms like Control4, Elan, or Savant
  • Certifications (e.g., CEDIA, Network+, Alarm Tech certifications)
  • Background in IT, electronics, or electrical work
