Business Development Consultant

Key areas of responsibilities

  • Prospecting for new clients
  • Present Company profile and offerings to clients
  • Meet targets with regards to new appointments and sales
  • Conduct needs analysis assessments with prospective clients
  • Manage the CRM system to ensure all leads are followed up and revisited regularly

Requirements:

  • Grade 12
  • 2-3 years Sales experience is required
  • Ability to meet and exceed defined sales targets
  • Prior experience in business-to-business selling is beneficial
  • Computer literacy (including MS Office & Google Search Engine)
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect and
  • interact with potential clients
  • A great attitude - “do what it takes” attitude
  • Must possess people skills and the ability to express themselves credibly to clients
  • Able to think-out-the-box and generate new ideas
  • Must be responsible, self-disciplined, target driven
  • Must be organized, motivated and able to manage their own time effectively
  • Ability to handle pressure
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team
  • Persuasive and goal-oriented
  • Able to professionally and confidently communicate with executives
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • The ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent time management and organization
  • Valid drivers license and own reliable transport
