Business Support Supervisor

Fleet Management

· Oversee trucks and fleet operations, including maintenance and logistics

· Manage vehicle scheduling, dispatch & routing

· Programming the regular inspections to ensure vehicle compliance and transport regulations is adhered to

· Ensuring all drivers carry out their driving duties responsibly, safely and legally

· Monitor & control fuel consumption, including tracking fuel usage & identifying areas of improvement

· Implement fuel saving initiatives & optimise routes to reduce fuel consumption

Construction Project Management

· Coordinate & manage construction project including planning, execution and completion

· Ensure project has a construction schedule, is within budget & meet quality standards

· Collaborate with project stakeholders including contractors, suppliers and construction workers

· Subscribe to construction project administrative functions, including sourcing quotations, receiving tax invoices and reconciling purchase receipts for record-keeping

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES & SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

§ Analytical Skills: In-depth grasp of vehicle upkeep, a strong understanding of vehicle compliance and a background in construction building and inspection

§ Soft Skills: Strong written and oral communication skills, emotional intelligence, resilience, an exceptional eye for detail and excellent time management skills.

Candidate must also be willing to undertake any additional duties requested by the general manager and work for long hours, These duties are not limited and may vary depending on client and business developments.
