Compliance Manager

Job Description To ensure there is implementation of the Groups compliance frameworks and programmes in consultation with business ensure conformance and adherence with regulations and delivers through a team of Compliance resources/specialists. Ensure adherence of organisation policies and procedures, especially regulatory and ethical standards. Perform regular audits, design control systems and help to design and implement company policies.
  • Proven ability to lead and drive compliance initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of the regulatory landscape, with the ability to interpret and apply compliance requirements effectively
  • Demonstrate the ability to perform under pressure and manage high-stakes compliance matters
  • Experience in enhancing and advancing the compliance profile.
  • Capability to establish, monitor, and drive compliance key risk indicators
  • Critical thinking skills with a strategic and analytical approach to problem solving
  • Passion for leveraging innovation and technology to improve compliance functions
  • Exceptional conflict resolution skills, with the ability to navigate complex situations diplomatically
Qualification
  • Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree
  • Postgraduate Diploma in a relevant field
  • Certificate in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) or Certificate in Anti-money laundering specialist (CAMS)
