We are seeking to employ the services of a counter sales professional.

We are an established retailer and repairer in the lawnmower and irrigation industry serving mostly domestic clients.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Tasks involved for the available position will included the following, but not limited to:

• Sales (internal and external).
• Day to day running of the store.
• Ordering stock.
• Merchandising.
• Meeting sales goals.
• Assist customers with purchase decisions & identify customer needs & recommend solutions.
• Processing of quotes and customer orders efficiently.
• To ensure the effective & efficient administration of the relevant function and adhere to all company policies and procedures. Ensure effective record keeping, processes of requisite -documentation/s and relative administrative functions are attended to in a timeous manner.
• Ensure effective stock management / Input to stock management and participate in stock takes.

Please note that this is a retail position and it will be expected of you to work retail hours ie. weekends and some public holidays.

As this is for a position in the gardening industry, leave is only available in the winter months. You must be prepared to work all of the summer months, especially December.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the industry, although not essential. Have a technical background, understand how engines work, understand how water pumps and irrigation sprayers work.

Must be fluent in Afrikaans & English.
