Were looking for an experienced leader who has acquired considerable expertise in compliance, governance, and the financial regulation field, with a strong focus on AML and international money transfer. You will ensure that Mama Money, its affiliates, its customers and its partners are protected from any damage that might result from the failure to comply with regulatory obligations and our own internal procedures regarding Financial Crime while taking into account our risk appetite. You will ensure we keep improving our frameworks and processes. You will report to the co-founder. As our Sales Agent you will be responsible for:

- Market insights and product development: Providing insights on market influences, competitor developments, and products, customer behavior etc. to help improve Mamas product offering to this corridor.
- New Business Development: Actively managing the Mama Money business on both value and volume on this corridor. Achieve growth targets set for this corridor on a daily, weekly, monthly and annual basis.
- Community Engagement: Develop and grow deep-rooted community-based relationships with associations, faith-based organisations, and communities who may send money home to the corridors Mama Money operates. Build relationships with key influencers within these communities, who will act as brand ambassadors for Mama Money Create brand awareness and customer loyalty within these communities through supporting community events through Mama Money outreaches, contributions towards these events etc.

- You have proven sales experience within the remittance arena within South Africa or experience growing a retail distribution channel through electronic products such as data and airtime or similar
- You resonate from the African community, are well respected, and have a good standing within the community.
- You are highly target and sales driven.
- You have outstanding communication, brainstorming, and collaboration skills with obsessive attention to detail
- You have strong quantitative & analytical skills; able to use data to optimise day-to-day performance
- You demonstrate a structured and methodical way of working, with the ability to cope with competing demands and effectively prioritise tasks.
- You have excellent interpersonal, communication, leadership, and negotiation skills
- You have a bias for action and can get things done
