Customer Success Consultant (CSC)
Location: On-site at Storage Facility (Tokai or Lansdowne)Reports to: Managing Director
Role Overview
The Customer Success Consultant (CSC) is responsible for driving revenue growth and operational efficiency at the assigned storage facility. This role focuses on converting leads into sales, delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring high retention rates, managing debtors, overseeing facility management, and providing performance reports. The CSC is ultimately accountable for the facilitys overall success.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with prospective customers to convert leads into rentals.
- Conduct facility tours and demonstrate value propositions to customers.
- Maintain high conversion rates from enquiries to move-ins.
- Upsell and cross-sell storage solutions and related services.
Customer Service & Retention
- Provide excellent service to new and existing customers.
- Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and conflict resolution effectively.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to drive long-term retention.
Debtors Management
- Monitor and follow up on overdue accounts to ensure timely payments.
- Implement and enforce credit control measures at the facility level.
- Liaise with the Debtors Administrator (DAM) on escalated collection matters.
Facility Management
- Ensure the facility is well-maintained, clean, and secure.
- Conduct routine inspections and report maintenance issues.
- Manage inventory of locks, packaging materials, and other retail items.
Performance Reporting
- Track and analyse sales, occupancy rates, customer feedback, and financial performance.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports on facility performance.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 2 years in a sales, customer service, or retail management role.
- Experience in the self-storage, real estate, or hospitality industry is an advantage.
- Matric certificate required; additional sales or business qualifications are beneficial.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Prepared to work a 5.5 day work-week
