Position Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Analyst who will be responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing complex datasets to support business operations and strategic initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with various departments to identify trends, create reports, and provide data-driven recommendations that drive business performance.

Key Responsibilities

Data Analysis and Reporting:

• Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources
• Develop and maintain regular reports and dashboards for key stakeholders
• Create visualizations and presentations to communicate findings effectively
• Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in business data
• Perform statistical analysis to support business decision-making

Business Intelligence:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements
• Design and implement data collection systems and processes
• Monitor key performance indicators and business metrics
• Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis
• Support ad-hoc analytical requests from management and departments

Data Management:

• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across systems
• Develop and maintain data documentation and metadata
• Optimize data processes and workflows for efficiency
• Assist in data governance initiatives and best practices
• Support data quality improvement projects

Essential Requirements

Education and Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or related field
• Minimum 2-4 years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence
• Proven experience with data analysis tools and techniques

Technical Skills:

• Advanced proficiency in Excel and data manipulation
• Strong knowledge of SQL for database querying and management
• Experience with statistical software (R, Python, SPSS, or similar)
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar)
• Knowledge of database systems and data warehousing concepts

Analytical Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Experience with statistical analysis and modeling techniques
• Ability to work with large, complex datasets
• Understanding of data mining and machine learning concepts
• Knowledge of statistical methods and hypothesis testing

Preferred Qualifications

• Masters degree in a quantitative field
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Knowledge of programming languages (Python, R, SAS)
• Experience with ETL processes and data integration
• Familiarity with business intelligence platforms
• Industry-specific analytical experience
• Certification in relevant analytical tools or platforms
