About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Debtors and Creditors Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and have a strong understanding of credit and debtor control—preferably within the Retail industry. You will report directly to the Bookkeeper and play a key role in ensuring smooth financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Manage debtors and creditors accounts using Easyacc.intelliacc Accounting software✅ Perform general office administration tasks✅ Prepare and maintain monthly payment schedules✅ Conduct data capturing and ensure accurate record-keeping✅ Organize and manage filing systems✅ Process invoices and ensure timely payments✅ Assist with various administrative duties as needed

Requirements:

✔ Matric (Grade 12) required✔ Finance/Accounting qualification preferred✔ 5+ years experience as a Debtors and Creditors Clerk✔ Extensive experience in credit/debtors control (Retail industry experience advantageous)✔ Fluency in Afrikaans and English (Essential)✔ Strong negotiation and communication skills✔ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)✔ Experience in relevant accounting software (Advantageous)✔ Strong attention to detail and accuracy✔ Ability to work independently and as part of a team✔ Own reliable transport is essential✔ Age requirement: 35 - 50 years
