Debtors Clerk
We are looking to employ a Debtors Clerk at our Brackenfell Dealership, with the following responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of debtor accounts, ensuring they are up to date and reconciled regularly.
- Proactively communicate with debtors, issuing invoices, statements, and reminders for outstanding payments.
- Conduct thorough investigations to resolve payment discrepancies or disputes promptly.
- Weekly/monthly reporting to FM and departmental mangers regarding account terms.
- Attending to and resolving customer queries.
- Ensuring accuracy and effective reconciliations of accounts across systems.
- Generating and distributing monthly reports.
- Monthly reporting on client account performance.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as the sales team, to address any billing or payment-related queries.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on debtor status, collection progress, and overall financial health.
- Capturing and allocating receipts to invoices.
- Settling floorplan on sold units.
- Managing the floorplan in general.
Requirements:
- Minimum Matric / relevant qualification relating to Finance
- 3 years experience as a Debtors Admin/Clerk
- Motor Industry experience
- Must reside in Brackenfell area
