Digital Marketing Lead
Key Responsibilities:
Digital Product Go-to-Market Strategy & Execution:
Own the go-to-market (GTM) strategy for our digital software products and
features.
Define and refine B2C positioning, user-centric messaging, and digital
storytelling to make our software product stand out in the consumer
marketplace.
Conduct competitive analysis & market research to inform product strategy.
Develop digital launch plans and work across teams to execute high-impact
campaigns at targeted audiences.
Digital Consumer Insights:
Be the voice of the end-user—gather feedback, run surveys, and analyse user
app behaviour and engagement patterns.
Identify key consumer digital trends and opportunities to shape our software
product roadmap.
Work closely with Product, UX/UI, and Engineering teams to ensure our software
is solving real consumer pain points and creating unique value.
Digital User Engagement & Lifecycle Marketing:
Leverage our Customer Engagement Platform (CEP) to drive customer
onboarding, retention, and advocacy.
Set up automated lifecycle email campaigns, in-app messaging, and
personalised engagement journeys.
Monitor and optimise key digital engagement metrics like app usage, DAU/MAU,
user retention, and subscription conversion
Work closely with Sales & Operational teams to improve user engagement &
upsell strategies.
A/B test digital messaging and user engagement tactics to enhance conversion
rates across the consumer journey.
Digital Content & Consumer Communication Strategy:
Create compelling digital assets, app store listings, video demos, user
testimonials, and feature highlights.
Support our digital growth teams with the right consumer messaging, tools, and
in-app communication strategies.
Write clear, engaging, and SEO-optimized content for our app, website, blog,
email campaigns, and social media targeted at B2C audiences.
Digital Performance & Growth Optimisation
Track software product adoption and digital campaign performance, optimising
as needed.
Own key metrics like app download rates, user activation, trial conversion,
and digital engagement.
Experiment with pricing, bundling, and offers to drive revenue growth.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with Product, Growth, and Engineering to shape our digital
product-market fit.
Align with Sales & Operational teams to ensure a seamless user journey.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and webinars.
Experience & Skills:
3+ years in Digital Product Marketing, Growth Marketing, or related roles
(B2C software experience a huge plus!).
Consumer SaaS, mobile apps, digital platforms experience required.
Firsthand experience in digital consumer research, software GTM strategy,
and user-centric storytelling.
Strong ability to craft compelling messaging that resonates with different
audience segments across different touchpoints.
Firsthand experience with digital analytics tools and marketing automation
tools. Experience working with the CleverTap platform a huge plus!

REQUIRMENTS
Proven experience delivering measurable growth for B2C digital products, preferably in SaaS
or fintech
Demonstrated ability to hit specific user acquisition and engagement targets within tight
timeframes
Expertise in CRM strategy with focus on segmented user activation and conversion
Strong capabilities in feature adoption campaigns (similar to Early Pay and fuel purchases)
Data-driven optimisation approach with weekly iteration cycles
Experience with digital analytics and marketing automation tools (experience with CleverTap
platform a plus)
Ability to integrate with internal product development cycles
Demonstrable case studies showing achievement of similar growth metrics
Job Types: Temporary, Temp to permContract length: 3 months
Pay: R60 000,00 - R80 000,00 per month
