Dispatch Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Dispatch Manager to oversee the dispatch operations in our manufacturing facility. The Dispatch Manager will be responsible for managing the timely and accurate distribution of finished goods to customers, ensuring efficient inventory management, and coordinating with internal departments to maintain smooth logistics operations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Experience In:

- **Dispatch Operations**: Oversee the daily dispatch of finished products, ensuring they are correctly prepared and shipped according to customer orders and delivery schedules.

- **Team Management**: Lead, train, and manage the dispatch team, ensuring they meet productivity and quality standards while fostering a positive and efficient work environment.

- **Logistics Coordination**: Collaborate with production, warehouse, and transport teams to ensure accurate and on-time delivery of products.

- **Inventory Management**: Monitor stock levels to ensure the availability of products for dispatch while minimizing excess stock and waste.

- **Process Improvement**: Continuously assess and optimize dispatch processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.

- **Customer Communication**: Serve as the point of contact for customer delivery issues and concerns, providing timely updates on delivery schedules and resolving any discrepancies.

- **Compliance & Documentation**: Ensure that all dispatch operations comply with company policies, safety regulations, and legal requirements. Maintain accurate records of dispatched goods, including shipping documentation and delivery receipts.

- **Reporting**: Prepare and present regular reports on dispatch operations, including key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery rates, shipping costs, and order accuracy.

- **Troubleshooting**: Address and resolve any issues related to damaged goods, delays, or logistical challenges.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.

- **Experience**: Minimum of 3 years of experience in dispatch or logistics management, preferably within a manufacturing environment.

- **Skills**:

- Strong leadership and team management abilities.

- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).

- In-depth knowledge of dispatching processes and logistics operations.

- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Knowledge of safety and compliance regulations related to manufacturing and shipping.
