Role Purpose: The purpose of the Ethics Manager is to investigate cases of ethical misconduct, tip offs, and incidents, examining appropriate records and documentation, interviewing all relevant parties internally and externally (where required) and report findings to management. Are you someone who can:
- Prioritize cases for investigation based on risk.
- Manage ethics matters of various complexities.
- Ensure optimal utilization of case management tools.
- Execute investigation activities in line with applicable standards and delivers exceptional service that exceeds customers expectations through proactive, innovative and appropriate solutions.
- Actively participate in key internal forums, gather and share information and insights with colleagues across the Group, including subsidiaries in broader Africa.
- Cultivate and manage objective working relationship with a variety of stakeholders including with collaboration with end user segments, brands and support units (primarily Group Crime and Security), Business and Human Capital.
- Bachelors degree in risk, legal, compliance or a related field.
- 4 years mid-management experience in a JSE listed entity or the Finance industry will be advantageous.
- 2 years technical experience in internal investigations is recommended.
- Excellent MS Office skills.
- Excellent business administration skills.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Excellent organisational skills and understanding.
- Being initiative-taking and timeline driven.
- Information Management and strong project co-ordination skills.
- Strong research and presentation skills.
