Eduvos is seeking to appoint Independent Contractors to assist with marking responsibilities across various modules in the Information Technology Faculty at campuses across the country on a part-time contractual basis.

Remuneration & Training:
- Payment is based on the number of scripts marked, according to a sliding scale based on module level (Level 0, 1, 2, or 3).
- Training will be provided to ensure consistency and adherence to marking standards.

Minimum RequirementsRequirements:
- Qualification: Relevant Honors qualification in the field of Information Technology, Computer Science or Information Systems, as per the specific subject matter areas to be graded listed below.
- Relevant subject knowledge in Information Technology.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure fair and consistent assessment.
- Computer literacy (essential for online marking and administrative tasks).
- Ability to meet strict deadlines (non-negotiable).
- Team player mindset with good communication skills.
- Hybrid work agreement will be dependent on subject allocations - external markers may be required to collect / mark paper-based assessments at the allocated Eduvos campus
Key Responsibilities:
- Marking paper-based assessments, to be collected and returned to the designated campus.
- Marking online scripts via the Learning Management System (LMS).
- Accurately recording and submitting marks on the LMS.
Online Marking Modules (Not Geographically Restricted):
The following modules can be marked online via the Learning Management System:
- Personal Skills Development (ITSDA0)
- Maths for Computing (ITMCA0)
- Mathematical Problem Solving and Reasoning (ITMMA0)
- Linux Operating System (ITLXA0)
- Professional Practice (ITPOA0)
- Non-Technical Skills for IT Professionals (ITPFA1-B11)
- Network Security (ITNSA2-B11)
- Object Oriented Systems Analysis and Design (ITOOA3-B11)
Timelines (Q1):
- Application Deadline: 9 March 2025
- Training Completed By: 19 March 2025 (Mandatory)
- Summative Assessments Start (Level 2 & 3): 25 March 2025
- Summative Assessments Start (Level 0 & 1): 08 April 2025
