About the Role:

Disa Primary School, in partnership with Common Good in the Collaboration Network, is seeking a passionate Foundation Phase Educator. The successful candidate will create an engaging and nurturing learning environment for students in Grades 1-3, helping them develop essential skills in Literacy, Numeracy, and Life Skills.

Key Responsibilities:

· Deliver lessons across the Foundation Phase curriculum

· Plan differentiated lessons to meet diverse learner needs

· Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment

· Monitor and assess student progress

· Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and support staff

· Engage in professional development and contribute to school events

· Use blended learning techniques

Minimum Requirements:

· Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or equivalent in Foundation Phase Education

· SACE registration

· Experience in teaching Foundation Phase learners

· Strong knowledge of CAPS curriculum

· Fluency in English and Afrikaans

· Proficiency in Google Drive and Microsoft Office

· Police clearance certificate required

· Creative and innovative approach to teaching and learning

· Patient, empathetic, and understanding towards students diverse needs

· Ability to incorporate educational technology into the classroom
