Franchisee Manager
Smokey&Co., a growing smokehouse franchise known for smoked ribs, brisket, pizzas, calzones, southern fried tenders, and burgers, is seeking a Franchise Manager to oversee operations across our two franchise locations in Sybrand Park and Wynberg. With store managers handling day-to-day tasks, the Franchise Manager will ensure brand consistency, support franchisees, and drive performance. This role is key to maintaining our reputation for bold flavors and exceptional customer experiences while setting the stage for future expansion.Key Responsibilities:Act as the primary point of contact between Smokey&Co.s leadership and franchisees, providing guidance and support to store managers in Sybrand Park and Wynberg.Conduct regular site visits to ensure food quality (e.g., smoking techniques, pizza prep), service standards, and cleanliness align with Smokey&Co.s brand.Monitor financial performance of each location, collaborating with franchisees to boost sales and profitability (e.g., optimizing inventory, promoting specials).Train and coach franchise staff on menu execution, including smoked meats and southern-style recipes, ensuring consistency across stores.Coordinate supply chain logistics to maintain quality ingredients (e.g., meats, dough, spices) at competitive costs.Enforce health, safety, and operational policies in compliance with local regulations.Partner with marketing to roll out brand-wide campaigns and assist franchisees with local promotions tailored to Sybrand Park and Wynberg communities.Identify operational challenges and implement solutions to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.Provide regular reports to the Owner/CEO on store performance, franchisee feedback, and growth opportunities.Qualifications:3+ years of experience in multi-unit restaurant or franchise management, ideally in casual dining or QSR (quick-service restaurant) settings.Strong understanding of food operations, preferably with knowledge of smoked meats, pizza, or southern cuisine.Proven ability to lead, train, and support teams remotely and in-person.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to manage franchisee relationships.Familiarity with P&L statements, inventory management, and supply chain basics.Willingness to travel regularly between franchise locations in Sybrand Park and Wynberg.Passion for food and customer service, with an eye for detail.[Optional: Bachelors degree in business, hospitality, or related field preferred but not required.]What We Offer:Opportunity to shape a growing franchise with a unique smokehouse concept.
