General Assistant

The Role:

A General Assistant, is responsible for:

• Repairs & Maintenance - Repair damaged inventory, including furniture and wooden items.
• Reupholstering & Woodwork - Perform reupholstery and woodwork as needed.
• Stock Handling - Pick, wrap, load, and offload merchandise safely.
• Inventory Management - Organise, stack, and prepare stock for dispatch or delivery.
• Teamwork - Work collaboratively to achieve department goals.
• Housekeeping & Safety - Ensure tools are maintained and safety procedures are followed.

What Were Looking For:

✔ 3+ years of experience in woodwork, furniture assembly, or upholstery.

✔ Experience in a warehouse or logistics environment (advantageous).

✔ Basic numeracy and literacy skills to follow instructions accurately.

✔ A Code 08 drivers license (advantageous).

✔ A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
