Handyman

We are looking for a reliable and skilled handyman to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to keep buildings, equipment, and facilities in good working condition. This is a hands-on role that requires practical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and a can-do attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general maintenance and repairs including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting.
• Fix broken equipment or faulty fixtures (e.g. taps, door handles, lights, shelves).
• Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment.
• Install appliances, shelves, and other small fittings as needed.
• Troubleshoot maintenance issues and carry out necessary fixes.
• Ensure tools and work areas are kept clean, safe, and organized.
• Respond promptly to repair requests and complete tasks efficiently.
• Collaborate with supervisors or facility managers to prioritize and schedule work.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a handyman or in a similar role.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and general building repairs.
• Ability to work with a variety of hand and power tools.
• Physically fit and capable of lifting and moving heavy items.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Valid drivers license.

Pay: R8 000,00 - R12 000,00 per month
