The Head of Operations will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the internal processes that keep SEEN TV running smoothly. This role requires a solutions-driven leader who can manage budgets, logistics, staffing, and operational workflows while ensuring seamless execution across departments. The ideal candidate is a problem solver, a systems thinker, and a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced media environment.

This is a fully remote role based in South Africa, but you will collaborate with teams across different locations.

• Oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth workflow across production, finance, and administration
• Develop and implement efficient systems for financial management, budgeting, and resource allocation
• Lead strategic planning to improve operational processes and optimize team performance
• Manage freelancer and payroll systems, ensuring payments and contracts are handled effectively
• Oversee subscriptions, renewals, and cost tracking to maintain financial sustainability
• Analyze revenue and performance data to drive operational improvements
• Work closely with leadership to scale operations in line with SEEN TVs growth strategy
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices
• Build and lead a high-performing operations team

• A strategic thinker who understands the operational needs of a growing media company
• Experienced in finance, budgeting, and resource management
• Proficient in Excel, Rippling, and cost management software, with strong data analysis skills
• Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple workflows efficiently in a remote environment
• A problem solver who thrives in a dynamic, fast-moving industry
• Experienced in people management, with a leadership style that fosters teamwork and accountability
• Previous experience in content production or digital media operations is highly preferred
• Based in South Africa, with the ability to work remotely while collaborating across different time zones
