  • A relevant B- Degree qualification in Environmental,
Mechanical/ Mechatronics Engineering
  • Pr. Eng./Pr. Tech. Eng. Professional Registration (advantageous)
  • Eligible for ECSA registration (essential)
  • 8 years relevant experience as per KPAs below
  • Staff Management / Supervisory experience
  • A valid drivers license
  • Exposure to a Waste Management environment will be
advantageous Key Performance Areas
  • Management of human, physical and financial resource
towards the development of a safe, well maintained and hygienic environment to enable delivery of efficient and effective services at Coastal Park Waste Management Facility
  • Responsible for management of short, medium and long term
planning of maintenance operations, scheduling of work, resource planning, and maintenance of facility records
  • Compiling and monitoring operational and capital budgets of
the facility
  • Undertaking operational control and responsibility over a number
of installations, plant, large and diverse workshops and area
  • Drawing up operational work plans and maintenance program
  • Exercising supervisor control over Superintendents,
Senior Foremen and Artisans
  • Undertaking responsibility for the general administrative duties,
including budgeting
  • Working independently within works / maintenance program and
