ISO and Food Safety Administrator

Job Summary

We are hiring an ISO and Food Safety Administrator with a strong background in the plastic packaging industry. The successful candidate will oversee our ISO 9001 and FSSC 22000 systems, ensure food safety compliance, support document control, and assist the Quality Control team. This is a key role in ensuring our products meet the highest quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve ISO 9001 and FSSC 22000 systems

• Coordinate internal and external audits

• Control and update quality and food safety documentation

• Train staff on ISO and food safety standards

• Investigate non-conformances and track corrective actions

• Assist Quality Control with inspections and product evaluations

• Ensure compliance with GMP and customer requirements

• Maintain certification records and regulatory compliance reports

Qualifications

• Matric and a relevant tertiary qualification (Quality, Food Technology, etc.)

• ISO 9001 and FSSC 22000 certification is essential

• 3-5 years experience in a similar role in the plastic packaging industry

• Knowledge of GMP and food-contact packaging regulations

• Strong admin and auditing skills

• Proficient in MS Office and quality systems
