Alpvest Institute for FutureTech (AIFT) invites applications for a passionate and experienced Desktop Publishing (DTP) Lecturer to join our academic team for the following high-impact programmes:

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate learning in Desktop Publishing, including layout design, image editing, and digital print production.
• Deliver engaging lectures on DTP software (e.g., Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, MS Publisher).
• Guide students through practical projects, portfolio building, and design assignments.
• Assess and moderate formative and summative assessments.
• Stay current with industry trends and digital design standards.
• Support students academic progress and provide individual mentorship where needed.

Minimum Requirements

• Degree, Honours, Masters in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, Digital Media, or Desktop Publishing.
• At least 2 years experience in the design, publishing, or printing industry.
• Strong command of desktop publishing tools and technologies.
• Experience in education, training, or facilitation is an advantage.
• Knowledge of print and digital formats, typography, and color theory.

Key Competencies

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and/or CorelDRAW.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail, layout skills, and visual communication.
• Ability to motivate students and manage classroom dynamics.
• Organized, flexible, and able to meet academic deadlines.
