Marketing Officer

A dynamic and growing mid-tier investment company is looking for a versatile Marketing & Communications Officer to lead and coordinate its marketing, communications, and admin functions. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on role with variety, ownership, and room to grow.

Key Responsibilities:

B2B Marketing & Communications

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies aligned with business goals
  • Build and maintain client relationships
  • Draft proposals, presentations, and communication materials
  • Manage and propose marketing budgets

Digital Marketing & Content Creation

  • Run social media platforms (content planning, posting, and engagement)
  • Create content including blogs, newsletters, and promotional material
  • Maintain and update the website (basic SEO, product uploads, etc.)
  • Run online ad campaigns (e.g., Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads)

Branding & Communication

  • Ensure brand consistency across all platforms and materials
  • Create or coordinate design of marketing assets (Canva, etc.)

Client Coordination & Liaison

  • Act as main point of contact for bursars and institutional clients
  • Handle invoicing, payment queries, and related documentation
  • Coordinate vacation work and follow-ups

Event & Campaign Support

  • Plan and manage events, workshops, and campaigns
  • Handle logistics, venue bookings, RSVPs, and setup

Internal Communication

  • Draft internal newsletters and updates
  • Support internal engagement and onboarding communications

Administrative Support

  • Manage marketing admin tasks and support senior management
  • Maintain organized filing systems and scheduling

What Were Looking For:

  • Degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in a marketing role (small business experience a plus)
  • Strong B2B marketing and communication skills
  • Proficient in digital tools (social media, Mailchimp, Canva, Google Suite)
  • Strong writing and presentation skills
  • Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks
  • Bonus: basic design and video editing skills (Canva, CapCut, etc.)
