Mechanical Fitter

Key Responsibilities

1. Installation and maintenance*: Install, maintain, and repair pumps, tanks, and associated piping systems.

2. Troubleshooting*: Identify and resolve issues with pumps, tanks, and piping systems.

3. Compliance with regulations*: Ensure work meets relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.

4. Collaboration with teams*: Work with other technicians, engineers, and site staff to ensure efficient operations.

Specific Tasks

1. *Pump maintenance*: Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and replacements of pumps.

2. *Tank inspections*: Conduct regular inspections of tanks to ensure integrity and safety.

3. *Piping system installation*: Install and maintain piping systems for fuel delivery.

4. *Safety procedures*: Follow strict safety procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements

1. *Mechanical fitting qualifications*: Hold relevant qualifications in mechanical fitting or a related trade.

2. *Experience*: Have experience working with pumps, tanks, and piping systems, particularly in the petroleum industry.

3. *Safety awareness*: Demonstrate a strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: R15 000,00 per month
