Overview

To oversee MES Developers that are forming part of a small core development team that is creating an MES Framework at Omnia. The candidate will be exposed to the latest Microsoft technologies, as well as innovations in the field of manufacturing systems.

Qualifications
  • Matric / Grade 12 with (Maths and Science)
  • Bachelor of Sciences in Information Technology
  • Bachelor of Sciences in Computer Science
  • Bachelor of Information systems
  • Bachelor of Tecnology in Information Technology
Experience
  • 8 - 10 Years as Software developer/ IT Team Leader/ IT Supervisor/ Programming Team Leader/ MES Lead Engineer preferable in manufacturing industry
Duties

Software Development and maintenance

  • Oversee and assist the performance of engineering and software development within the MES development department.
  • Oversee and assist with the performance integration with other systems.
  • Oversee and assist with developments of interfaces to integrate with other systems.
  • Oversee and assist with development and support of the MES framework.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle.
