Production supervisor

An established FMCG detergent manufacturing company is looking for a hands-on and results-driven Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills and a passion for production excellence. A background in chemistry or chemical manufacturing will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate production activities across mixing, filling, packaging, and assembly lines.
  • Plan and allocate daily tasks to meet production targets and delivery deadlines.
  • Monitor processes and equipment for optimal efficiency, quality, and safety.
  • Train, mentor, and supervise production teams, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Troubleshoot production challenges and implement corrective actions.
  • Enforce safety and hygiene protocols in compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with quality, maintenance, and logistics teams.
  • Maintain accurate production documentation and report on KPIs.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or equivalent.
  • Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety.
  • Minimum 3years experience in production supervision, preferably in an FMCG or chemical manufacturing environment.
  • Background in basic chemistry is a strong advantage.
  • Proficiency in SAGE (Manufacturing Modules) and Microsoft Office especially excel.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, GMPs, General Machinery Regulations, Environmental, health & safety regulations.
  • Forklift license and basic mechanical troubleshooting skills are advantageous.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
