Psychometrist
B.1 JOB PURPOSE
To facilitate assessment to an external client base in line with company processes, best practice and the requirements of the HPCSA. This may involve setting up of assessments and performing follow ups, facilitation of assessment sessions, report writing and feedbacks.
B.2 JOB OBJECTIVES
Professional Service Delivery
· To administer various assessments in line with company process and best practice and legislative and regulatory requirements
· To write good quality reports that provide insightful information to clients and decision-makers
· To provide feedback to candidates and management up to the level of senior management in a professional manner
· To remain up to date with MIE Assessment Centre tools and market offerings to ensure competence in assessment interpretation and feedback.
· To provide guidance to clients in line with best practice and regulatory and legislative requirements
Operational Service Delivery
· To perform assessment co-ordination, which includes setting up and arranging of assessments, managing online supplier platforms, monitoring completion and doing updates to clients and follow ups with candidates.
· To manage projects in line with agreed deliverables and timeframes
· To ensure that work is delivered with high quality and within service level timeframes.
· To provide back-office support to the sales team in their sales interactions with clients
Advisory
· To remain up to date with MIE Assessment tools, as well as industry offerings to ensure that knowledge and expertise is relevant and updated
· To demonstrates an understanding of the HR life cycle, apply this knowledge in client engagement and solution design
· To implement and advise clients on best practice, as well as regulatory and legislative requirements
· To contribute towards technology advancement initiatives and solutions, as well as process efficiency to ensure the efficiency of the business unit
· To be knowledgeable of MIE, as well as Talent Assessment systems and processes to be able to advise clients
Administration
· To record relevant assessment information on MIE systems to ensure accurate records for reporting including client matrices and monthly reporting
· To perform relevant administrative work as it relates to the objectives of this role
· To assist with the responsibilities of the Assessment Co-Ordinator on an ad hoc basis, as and when the workload requires it
Health and Safety
· Employees are responsible and accountable for:
o Compliance with workplace policies and procedures for risk identification, risk assessment and risk control.
o Active participation in activities associated with the management of workplace health and safety
o Identification and reporting of health and safety risks, accidents, incidents, injuries, and property damage at the workplace.
o To ensure information/ instruction/ training has been received to enable you to carry out your work.
o To advise company if your circumstances change that may affect your ability to work (i.e. becoming pregnant or suffering an injury)
General:
· Ensure adherence to all Health and Safety procedures
· To adhere and upheld HPCSA standards and regulations and operate within scope of practice

· Adhere to Company Policies and Procedures
· Any ad hoc duties as required from time to time
· Adhere to company requirements of trust and honesty in the handling of cash, finances, and products
SECTION C: JOB SPECIFICATION
C1. ESSSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS (Minimum qualification and Experience)
Qualification
· Honours degree in Industrial Psychology / Psychometry
· Registration with HPCSA as an Independent Psychometrist
· Registration as an Industrial Psychologist or studying towards obtaining a Masters Degree in Industrial Psychology will be an added advantage
· Accreditation on a wide range of assessment tools
Experience
· 1 - 3 Years experience in the use of occupational psychometric assessments
· Experience in a consulting or high-pressure environment
· Experience in writing reports for the purpose of corporate assessments
· Experience in designing solutions for clients will be an advantage
· Experience in managing projects will be an advantage
