Quality and Systems Manager

The Quality & Systems Manager will be responsible for overseeing the quality assurance and quality control functions in the company. This includes ensuring that all products meet the required quality standards, implementing quality systems and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The role requires a detail-oriented leader with strong expertise in quality management systems and the ability to collaborate with various departments to ensure the highest quality production outcomes.

Key Performance Areas:

  • Develop, implement and maintain the companys quality management system (QMS)
  • Ensure the adequacy and effectiveness of, and report on, internal and supplier policies, processes, procedures and standards in meeting customer, regulatory/legal and ISO9001 requirements
  • Provide technical competence and expertise in QMS cross-functionally, and lead the QMS department.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Degree in Quality Management or related field
  • ISO: ISO 9000: 2015 / ISO 9001: 2015 / ISO 3951 Certificate/s would be an added advantage
  • Minimum 5 years experience in Quality Assurance
  • Min 3 years in a Quality role in the Manufacturing industry
  • Governance, risk management and compliance (GRC), SHEQ Auditing
  • Policy conceptualisation, analysis and implementation
  • Knowledge of Quality Management Systems and implementation thereof, including supplier management
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, compliance and governance requirements
