• Grade 12
• 3 Years Facilitation experience
• Computer literacy
• Assessor and Moderator Certificate
• Qualified Firearm Instructor, Assessor, and Moderator in the

Firearm training.

• Knowledge of Firearms Control Act, 2000 (Act No. 60 of 2000)
• In depth application of the Professional Firearms Training

Council, and SAQA procedures, systems and all relevant legislation

• No criminal record
• Not be declared unfit to possess a firearm

Key Performance Areas

• To ensure compliance with legislation, range rules as well as

SOPs set by NRCS, PFTC and SASSETA, and that all training activities are properly recorded

• Ensure the safety of all (learners, facilitator and other staff) at

the shooting range

• Responsible for the maintenance and cleaning of the firearms

as well as the maintenance of the shooting range

• Managing training and skills development and the transfer of
