Sales Consultant

Overview

We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Sales Administrator who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. This role is perfect for someone who is highly organized, enjoys systems and processes, and has strong interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will have potential to grow into a tech sales role over time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Operations & Administration
  • Manage and maintain CRM data with 100% accuracy (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce).
  • Own all internal sales administration processes from lead intake to contract execution.
  • Schedule client meetings, follow-ups, and support proposal creation.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates.
  • Monitor and manage internal SLAs, ensuring sales processes are followed.
  • Client Relationship Support
  • Be a first line of contact for client queries, triaging and escalating when necessary.
  • Maintain warm, consistent communication with existing and potential clients.
  • Work closely with client engagement and sales leads to support key accounts.
  • Process Management
  • Continuously improve and document internal sales and engagement processes.
  • Ensure consistency and quality in sales documentation and communication.
  • Help onboard and orient new clients with a polished, process-driven approach.
  • Cross-functional Coordination
  • Work across teams (e.g. Marketing, Product, Support) to align on client communications.
  • Track sales team actions and follow up to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3-5 years experience in sales admin, client support, or operational roles.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with CRM systems (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—comfortable with client-facing interactions.
  • Strong attention to detail and ownership over admin-heavy tasks.
  • Comfortable with reporting, tracking metrics, and working in a data-informed environment.
  • Familiarity with sales cycles and B2B relationship management.
  • Fast learner with the ability to grow into client-facing sales role over time.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in a startup, SaaS, or tech-driven environment.
  • Exposure to or interest in tech sales or account management.
  • Experience working in a remote-first or hybrid team.
  • Familiarity with productivity tools like Notion, Slack, Trello, or Google Workspace.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: R25 000,00 - R35 000,00 per month
