General Sales Manager

(Based in Lynnwood)

A vacancy has arisen for a General Sales Manager, reporting to the Dealer Principal. The vacancy is open to internal staff and external candidates with immediate effect.

A brief summary of responsibilities:

Set and maintain strategic direction for the motorcycle and marine unit whilst taking responsibility and accountability for its performance, operational efficiency, growth and reporting. Driving Sales and all related logistics regarding motorcycle and marine department.

Including tasks such as:

  • Accurate forecasting, stock management
  • Strategic Planning by Maintain market share and margins
  • Business Planning and Expense Budget, Viable budget supporting company and departmental plans Viable and on time Actual performance in line with or better than budget,
  • Sales and Marketing, Market share is retained, Retail network meets targets and complies with company parameters Budgeted sales and stock levels achieved.

•Supplier Relationship Management, positive communication and co-operation with suppliers

  • Proactive information exchange
  • Team Management, Build up a team that excels in excellence in customer service

Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12
  • Computer literate
  • Code A/B drivers license

Minimum Experience:

  • 5 years relevant management experience
  • 3 years in Sales and customer interaction

Preferred Requirements:

  • Diploma/ Degree

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: R144 000,00 - R150 000,00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Pretoria, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
