Senior Sponsorship Executive

This is a seasoned role with a highly competitive salary package. An exciting opportunity has become available at Paramount Africa for a Senior Sponsorship Executive in our Commercial Department. This is a contract role for a duration of twelve (12) months and based in Bryanston, Johannesburg. The Senior Sponsorship Executive is responsible for driving commercial business imperatives within our organization. New business development, sales, stakeholder relations and project execution are fundamental skills required to succeed in this role. The incumbent works internally with cross-functional teams across brand, legal, production, finance and marketing. The role is also responsible for external stakeholders at all levels. This role is suitable for goal-oriented individuals. The role outputs are as follows: Drive new sponsorship business Maximise revenue opportunities and client retention Monitor the media landscape for current trends and competitive insights Identify key market opportunities. Present proposals to clients and internal stakeholders Work with the project manager to ensure sponsorships are executed according to contractual deliverables Oversee post-campaign analysis Manage internal administrative tasks in collaboration with team (contracts, marketing, PR, brand, production) Develop new sponsorship opportunities across various platforms. Adhere to internal processes and procedures Deliver on annual revenue targets. Competencies required for the role : Qualification: Post Matric qualification, a bachelors degree an advantage. Experience: Minimum five years experience selling media, with established direct client and indirect agency relationships Language: Excellent written and verbal command of English. Skilled in presenting, research and client management. Communication: The candidate must be a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, able to establish good relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all professional levels. The candidate must also have strong presentation skills and be able to articulate business propositions. Computer Literacy: MS Office Transport: Own vehicle required Industry background: The candidate should understand television broadcasting, digital media, and social media. Sales and sponsorship skills are essential as is the ability to formulate brand partnerships Other: The candidate must be passionate about sales and new business development, must be proactive, show innovation and think outside the box.
